I wonder if CDS premium for most banks, such as HDFC, debt went up...<BR/><BR/>As an aside, one John Paulson made billions by buying up cheap CDS on mortgages related debt, prior to sub-prime debacle (2005-06), because he was betting against housing bubble in US. Now those CDS are extremely expensive. It was brilliant the way this guy bet against housing bubble (I can't think of another way to do it in mortgage bond market).
